Retail sales up 0.6 percent
Hungarian retail sales in November grew by an annual 0.6 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Friday.
In November 2022, the volume of retail trade in both raw and calendar-adjusted data was 0.6% higher than in the same month of the previous year. In November, calendar-adjusted sales volumes decreased by 6.7% in specialised and non-specialised food shops and by 2.3% in non-food retailing and rose by 27.7% in automotive fuel retailing.
In January–November 2022, the volume of sales – also according to calendar adjusted data – was 6.4% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
