June guest nights up 3.1 percent
The number of guest nights spent in commercial accommodations in Hungary came to 4.2 million in June, up 3.1 percent year on year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
The number of guests rose by 11 percent approaching 4.2 million, KSH said.
The number of guest nights spent by domestic travellers dropped by an annual 2.2 percent, due mainly an additional 2 weeks of the school year.
The number of guest nights spent by foreign visitors increased by 9.4 percent.
