Inflation goes below 4 percent
In 12 months, compared to November 2024 a price increase of 3.2% (0.6% excluding food and beverage serving services) was recorded for food, within which 15.9% for other confectionery products, 14.9% for coffee, 11.3% for buffet products, 11.2% for eggs, 10.7% for chocolate and cocoa, 10.1% for edible oil, 7.5% for meals at schools, 6.7% for rolls and 4.9% for non-alcoholic beverages.
Within the product group, the price of margarine lessened by 28.3%, that of flour by 15.3%, milk product prices by 11.4%, the price of milk by 8.1%, that of pork by 7.8%, other meat preparation prices by 7.0% and the price of sugar by 4.7%.
An average 9.8% more was to be paid for electricity, gas and other fuels, within which natural and manufactured gas became 22.0% and electricity 2.1% more expensive.
Alcoholic beverage and tobacco prices rose by 7.5%, within which the price of tobacco by 9.0%. Services became 6.5%, within which recreational services 12.2%, the repairs and maintenance of vehicles 10.0%, personal care services 9.3%, the repairs and maintenance of dwellings 9.2% and health services 8.6% more expensive, rents increased by 8.0% and other public entertainment tickets became 7.9% more expensive.
Consumer durable prices were up by 2.9%, within which jewellery cost 21.5%, living and dining room furniture 5.9%, heating and cooking appliances 3.0% and new passenger cars 1.7% more for consumers. Motor fuel prices diminished by 5.0% and pharmaceutical products became 5.1% more expensive.
In one month, compared to October 2025 consumer prices increased by 0.1% on average. Food prices went up by 0.2% (and were unchanged on average excluding food and beverage serving services). Eggs cost 3.6%, edible oil 2.7%, buffet products 1.1%, other confectionery products and bread both 1.0% and milk and sugar both 0.6% more for consumers. Within the product group, the price of fruit and vegetable juices lessened by 3.2%, that of chocolate and cocoa by 3.1%, the price of butter by 2.1% and cheese prices by 1.2%.
Clothing and footwear became 0.7% more expensive. Electricity, gas and other fuel prices diminished by 0.4%, within which 0.4% less was to be paid for both natural and manufactured gas and butane and propane gas (Press release).
Service prices lessened by 0.1% on average, within which the price of recreational services was cut by 1.1%. Motor fuel prices diminished by 0.6% and the price of pharmaceutical products by 0.1%.
