Hungary reports EUR 1.652 billion trade surplus in February
Hungary had a 1.652 billion euro trade surplus in February, a first reading of data released by the Central Statistics Office (KSH) on Thursday shows.
Exports fell by an annual 2.4 percent to 12.559 billion euros. Imports dropped by 11.6 percent to 10.907 billion euros.
Trade with other European Union member states accounted for 77 percent of Hungary’s exports and 72 percent of its imports during the month.
