GDP down 2.4 pc in Q2, second reading says
Hungary's economy contracted by an annual 2.4 percent in the second quarter, the second reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday shows.
Adjusted for seasonal and calendar year effects, GDP shrank by 2.3 percent.
Quarter on quarter, GDP eased by an adjusted 0.3 percent, falling for the fourth quarter in a row.
In the first half of 2023, GDP shrank by an adjusted 1.7 percent year on year, according to a first reading of data, KSH said.
