Construction output volume grew by 4.9%

In July 2025 compared to the same month of the previous year:

Output in both main groups of construction increased: the onstruction of buildings by 5.7%, that of civil engineering by 4.7%.

Among the divisions of construction, the construction of buildings increased by 46.1%, civil engineering grew by 12.5%. Production in specialised construction activities, having the largest weight in construction, fell by 15.4%.

The volume of new contracts concluded lagged behind the extremely high base of the previous year by 48.9%, within it the volume of contracts for the construction of buildings increased by 16.5%, those for civil engineering works fell by 66.3%.

The volume of the end-of-July stock of contracts at construction enterprises was 1.9% higher than one year earlier, within it the volume of contracts for the construction of buildings was down by 9.7% and grew by 9.3% for civil engineering works, compared to July 2024.
In the first seven months of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year:

Construction output volume grew by 0.8%.
