Szijjarto: Government launches next round of funding for Bosnia-Herzegovina farmers

Hungary will provide under the next round of a government scheme 6.5 billion forints (EUR 17.2m) in funding for the purchase of Hungarian-made machinery by farmers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the minister of foreign affairs and trade announced in Banja Luka on Wednesday.

The funding will be available from August 1, Peter Szijjarto said, according to a foreign ministry statement.

The support is for up to 70 percent of the purchase price or 25,000 euros per transaction, said Szijjarto.

In the first round, a funding of 4 billion forints supported the purchases of machinery by 768 farmers, he added.
