Swedish PM: ‘Strong will’ on Hungary’s part to finalise NATO accession
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson on Monday said he believed there was "a strong will" on Hungary's part to finalise Sweden's NATO accession.
“When it comes to Hungary, I’ll look forward to go to Budapest, and we will certainly let you know when the date is decided,” Kristersson said, responding to a question at a joint press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Warsaw.
Kristersson said he and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban have had “a few pieces of conversation in the last weeks”, adding that he was looking forward to their meeting.
