President to visit Turkiye
President Katalin Novak will visit Turkiye between March 29 and 31, marking the centenary of diplomatic ties, the press directorate of the presidential office said on Tuesday.
Novak is scheduled to meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, and will visit earthquake-hit southwestern Turkiye to “get first-hand experience of the superhuman efforts with which 167 Hungarian experts and 29 rescue dogs saved 35 lives” after the earthquakes in February, the statement said.
The three-day visit “will have political, humanitarian and cultural aspects and mirror the alliance and friendship between the two countries,” it said.
