Orbán meets former Canadian PM
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met Stephen Harper, former prime minister of Canada and head of the International Democratic Union (IDU) in his office in Budapest on Thursday, the prime minister's press chief said.
The discussion focused on the war in Ukraine and its effects on global politics, Bertalan Havasi said. The sides also reviewed opportunities for closer cooperation between conservative parties.
The Munich-based IDU is an international alliance of centre-right parties.
