Orbán discusses political, economic cooperation with Georgia counterpart
At their talks they established that the two countries shared the same principles that included nurturing and representing traditional national and Christian values which strengthened their political ties, Bertalan Havasi said.
Orbán said at the meeting that by utilising excellent bilateral political ties built over the past years, Hungary aimed to develop similarly successful cooperation in the economy and trade.
They noted the presence of major Hungarian companies in Georgia, and Garibashvili said more Hungarian investors were welcome. They identified great potential in agricultural cooperation, the statement said.
Hungary offered to grant state scholarships to Georgian students under the Stipendium Hungaricum programme, it added.
