Netanyahu: Hungarians, Israelis more united than ever

Israeli Prime Minister Bejnamin Netanyahu, in a letter, thanked Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for his New Year's wishes to the Jewish community, saying that the partnership between Israel and Hungary had brought the two governments and nations closer together than ever before, the PM's press chief said.

Netanyahu said he was certain that Israel and Hungary’s improving relations would yield “tangible advantages” for the two countries’ future generations.

The Israeli premier expressed appreciation for Hungary’s consistent support for Israel at European and international forums and wished Hungarians good health, prosperity and peace for the coming year.
