Hungarian members included in new EP committees

The European Parliament has announced the names of MEPs to sit in new committees established on March 10, and Hungarians will have seats in the committee investigating the use of Pegasus spyware and the committee on foreign interference in all democratic processes in the European Union.

The Committee of Inquiry to investigate the use of Pegasus and equivalent surveillance spyware will include Balazs Hidveghi of the ruling Fidesz party, Sandor Ronai of opposition Democratic Coalition, and Anna Donath of opposition Momentum.

The Special Committee on foreign interference in all democratic processes in the European Union, including disinformation, will include Andrea Bocskor (Fidesz), Hidveghi and Donath.
