Services bundled under ‘One’
The 4iG Group is completing the final phase of merging and realigning its telecommunications portfolio. From 1 January 2025, the Vodafone, DIGI, Antenna Hungária and Invitech brands will gradually disappear from the Hungarian market. The companies will offer their telecoms services for private and business customers under the One brand. Vodafone Hungary Zrt. will change its name to One Hungary on 1 January.
Second largest telecoms provider
The companies will not only bear the same brand name, but will also be legally merged. The merger with the successor company of Vodafone Hungary, One Magyarország Zrt, will take place by the second half of 2025. The series of transactions will create the second largest telecommunications provider in Hungary, covering the entire spectrum of telecommunications services in the segments for private customers, small and large companies.
Comprehensive offering for business customers
One will also offer an integrated service portfolio for medium-sized and large corporate customers. In addition to traditional mobile and fixed network data and voice services, the company will provide database, cloud and IT security solutions with a monthly fee and aims to pioneer innovative technologies such as private 5G network solutions and IoT. Vodafone and DIGI customers will not be affected by automatic package or tariff changes as a result of the reorganisation; the current contract terms will remain in place. The consolidated revenue of the ITC Group in 2023 was HUF 594.4 billion (just under EUR 1.6 billion) and EBITDA was HUF 197.4 billion.
