Magnus Aircraft to open showroom in China

On 11 November, Magnus Aircraft Zrt. will open a showroom in Wuxi, China. Last weekend, the Pécs-based company presented the Magnus Fusion, an aircraft developed in-house, at a conference.

The aircraft type could contribute to China’s economic goals in the so-called lower airspace. The Chinese government also presented its national strategy for the development of aviation at the conference.

In cooperation with Óbuda University, the company is building an assembly and maintenance facility for composite aircraft and a development centre in Wuxi (near Shanghai). The Hungarian-Chinese joint venture Jiangsu Magnus Aircraft Manufacturing will create 300 jobs and aims to produce several thousand small two-seater and at least 400 four-seater aircraft within ten years, mainly for the Chinese, Iranian and African markets.
