M-Telekom dividend coming in May
Magyar Telekom will distribute a dividend of almost 91 billion forints to its shareholders for the 2024 financial year. This was decided at the company's annual general meeting on Tuesday.
The shareholders approved the consolidated annual report for 2024 with a profit after tax of 163.4 billion forints. The Annual General Meeting then voted on the appropriation of the profit after tax for 2024. According to the resolution, the company will distribute a total dividend of 90.9 billion forints to shareholders on the 2024 result. The remaining HUF 63.2 billion of the taxed profit will be allocated to retained earnings. The first day of the dividend payment is 20 May.
The shareholders authorised the Management Board to acquire Magyar Telekom shares via the stock exchange or over-the-counter trading, the purpose of which is to implement share-based incentive programmes. The authorisation is valid for 18 months.
