Introduction of new technologies on the rise

Only half of companies expect their IT budgets to increase this year.

Nevertheless, two thirds are planning to introduce new digital technologies, with the focus of development being on AI, business intelligence and automation, writes the Stylers Group in a recently published survey.

Two thirds of IT managers are preparing to implement AI automation solutions, especially in the areas of data analysis, decision-making and support for business applications, sales and marketing, while 78% of companies already use various AI-based solutions on a daily basis.

61% of organisations plan to develop cloud technologies, although only a fifth of them operate in a pure cloud environment and 63% use a hybrid solution. Low-code/no-code technology, which replaces traditional encoders, is already being used by 40% of companies, while a further 25% are preparing to introduce it.

In terms of security issues, IT managers are most concerned about data manipulation (64%), cyber threats related to blackmail (56%) and industrial espionage (31%).

For the ‘Protechtor CIO Navigator’ survey, the Budapest-based IT services company Stylers interviewed more than 70 IT managers from domestic companies.
