4iG enjoys Vodafone effect

The leading telecoms and IT company recorded impressive sales growth of over 20% in the first nine months of the year.

This was announced by 4iG Nyrt. on Friday on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT). In the third quarter, consolidated revenue according to IFRS increased by 20.5% to 507.8 billion forints.

Consolidated EBITDA increased by 15% to 169.8 billion forints, with the EBITDA margin reaching 33.4%. The strong sales and EBITDA growth is based on several factors: the first fully integrated results of Vodafone Hungary, an increase in business and private customers in the mobile sector, an increase in average revenue per customer and growing revenues in the IT business. The increase in EBITDA by 22.3 billion forints was also partly driven by Vodafone. Both revenue and EBITDA benefited from the strong financial performance of the foreign subsidiaries compared to the previous year.
