The EU court has made such a significant decision that "it is visible even from the Moon," Minister Bóka said on Facebook.

The prime minister said the EU had never admitted a country at war "with good reason".

"We hope that President Trump will be just as successful when it comes to the war in Ukraine," the foreign minister said.

"Hungary does not support any initiative that aims to send even more money and weapons to Ukraine, especially when the bill must be paid by us, Hungarians," the foreign minister said.

Zoltán Kovács said it was in Hungary's fundamental interest to strive to become a hub for technology, industry, economy, diplomacy and politics, taking advantage of its opportunities in the region.

"Hungary's stance is clear and we stand by it; we do not want Hungarians to be forced to pay the price of Ukraine's EU accession," the prime minister said.

The list of organisations included a multitude of organisations that were supposed to be civic, but they were in fact involved in political activities.

"This would have catastrophic consequences for Hungary," Balázs Hidvéghi said in a video on Facebook.

The prime minister said Ukraine would not add value to the bloc but bankrupt it.

Minister Szijjártó referred to Volodymyr Zelensky's recent statement that a majority of Hungarians were likely to support his country's EU bid.
