"If Donald Trump can't broker peace in Ukraine, no one can," the foreign minister said, adding that Hungary fully supports Trump's endeavors.

The president said that "Hungarian-Polish friendship for us is not a myth, but a reality."

Minister Szijjártó welcomed the "wise decision" that had eliminated a source of tension and contributed to regional and, in turn, global security.

Last year, over 215,000 Israeli visitors spent 693,000 guest nights in Hungary, generating revenue of HUF 21bn.

The foreign minister said US international aid agency USAID "were the basis of massive political corruption in our country".

Minister Szijjártó noted investments by Hungarian companies in Montenegro's IT, telecommunications and financial sectors.

Minister Szijjártó said the most important topic currently was "brokering peace in Ukraine".

László Kövér said Hungary considered Pakistan a key player in South Asia, which he called "the world’s most dynamically growing region".

The prime minister and Antonio Costa discussed preparations for a special European Council summit scheduled for March 6.

"The longer the war goes on and the more weapons there are, the more people will die," Minister Szijjártó said.
