Indian motifs in paintings
Indian painter Raj Sarma, a graphic designer for computers who has lived in Budapest for a year, has an exhibiton of his work at the Gallery of Young Artists in Hotel Benczúr in District VI until July 1.
Sarma’s Indian motifs in his work include portraits and sacred objects. The exhibition was opened on June 10 by S. Ramji, a diplomat from the Indian Embassy in Budapest, and the hostess for the evening was Veronika Gulyás.
Indian dancers Barber Mira and Domán Karolina, and writer/poet Fábián Franciska entertained. Péter Bézi is the curator of the Gallery of Young Artists.
