Concerto Budapest celebrates major success in Great Britain and Ireland

The Hungarian orchestra was invited to the British Isles for the third time and was greeted with standing ovations at every performance in Dublin, Coventry, Birmingham, London, and Edinburgh.

The concert tour took place at the invitation of the international artists’ agency IMG Artists.

Under the direction of chief conductor András Keller, Concerto Budapest presented a program featuring works by Liszt, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Shostakovich. The internationally renowned pianist Paul Lewis appeared as soloist, performing Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto. The tour received widespread international attention and confirmed the orchestra’s growing presence on Europe’s major concert stages.
