Budapest Art and Antique fair to present 30 galleries, art dealers
Over 30 galleries, auctioning houses and art dealers will have their stands at this year's Art and Antique art fair in the Balna centre in Budapest between March 3 and 6, the organisers said on Monday.
The Virag Judit Gallery will put on display for sale Tivadar Csontvary Kosztka’s Child in Red Dress (painted around 1894), Jozsef Rippl-Ronai’s Anella and Laszlo Moholy-Nagy’s Composition. The Erdesz Gallery will put on show Sandor Bortnyik’s Cabaret and titles by Istvan Nadler, and the Deak Erika Gallery will present titles by Dora Maurer and Dezso Korniss, among others, they said.
The fair will also feature dealers presenting furniture and jewelry.
During the show, art historian Peter Antalffy will give guided tours in Hungarian and English.
This year, a diamond necklace and earring set worth one million forints will be raffled off among visitors.
