Budapest, October 21 (MTI) - Two small parties, the
liberal Free Democrats and the conservative Democratic Forum invited
the other three parties in parliament to join them on Wednesday to
discuss tax issues and a budget spending ceiling, Gabor Horn, the Free
Democrat leader told MTI on Tuesday.
Speaking for Fidesz, the largest opposition party, vice-chair Mihaly Varga said they would attend, while the head of the governing Socialist party's budget group, Lajos Szabo, said that his party also would be there.
Szabo said the meeting could be used to prepare for a political summit including the chairs of all parties in parliament, as well as their parliamentary group leaders.
