Nordica Skiarena Kft. last week announced that it had repaid HUF 223 million (EUR 835,000) in debts to its former owner, the RFV Group, the latter announced via the Budapest Stock Exchange on Wednesday. RVF, an energy services firm, sold the ski resort in Eplény near Lake Balaton, in December 2008. Hungary’s modest ski resorts were open for business this year during a month of wintry weather that ended a run of unprofitable, warm winters.
