The
Aquincum Institute of Technology is to be built by Graphisoft next to its Graphisoft Park technology centre. Demszky and
Bojár also signed an official contract establishing the university.
Budapest
City Council is also planning to transform a disused gasworks on the site into
a cultural centre. The university, named after an ancient Roman settlement by
which the gasworks now stands, is to be run for profit and aims to produce
world class IT engineers and researchers.
