More for BKV, less for you

Budapest City Council narrowly endorsed last week a contract that will give a HUF 17.4 billion (EUR 64.64 million) subsidy to the indebted and scandal-riven public transport firm BKV, with the last instalment to be paid by 15 July. The contract also obliges BKV to raise its ticket prices at least in line with inflation.
