certain to produce the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, it is
sport. For a long time it seemed that Hungary’s sporting life was
gradually climbing out from the deep pit it fell into when handball
player Marian Cozma was stabbed to death at a Veszprém nightspot, but
in the end the Hungarian links to the soccer match-fixing scandal
