Britannica International School hosted its third annual
Poetry Recital Competition last Tuesday at the Corinthia Grand Hotel
Royal. Fifty students from six international schools performed

A bomb planted near a statue of Vladimir Lenin in St Petersburg last
Wednesday has left the famous Bolshevik with a massive hole in his
backside. No one was injured in the blast outside the Finland Station,
the site of one of the revolutionary’s most famous speeches. It was a
bad week for Lenin. A portrait of the bloodthirsty communist painted on
the Mashuk Mountain southern Russia was daubed with a swastika and

The Spring Wine Festival kicks off this year’s wine and
pálinka festival season. This is the fourth year that wine producers
and wine lovers will gather on Easter weekend at the Városháza Park.
