Hiller pledges more money for education

Education
Minister István Hiller last week pledged an extra HUF 135 billion (EUR 531.78
million) in funding to upgrade the education system next year, with the lion’s

“Animal Island” – pioneer in Hungarian animal shelters, marks anniversary – paper

Budapest, April 21 (MTI) – Animal Island, a complex including an
animal shelter housing 120 dogs, a petting zoo that is home to
goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and pigeons, and most recently a
retired police horse, and an obedience school, is the outcome of a
