The Simon Wiesenthal centre in
Jerusalem has criticised Hungary for organising Holocaust memorial
events instead of taking legal action against a WWII gendarme Sandor
Kepiro. The Wiesenthal centre alleges that he participated in a

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and
Development (OECD) called on Hungary to stick to its efforts to cut the budget
deficit in the wake of the collapse of the coalition. A report released by the OECD said that Hungary must
cut its deficit – at 5.5% of GDP currently the highest among OECD countries –
to below 3% by 2010 to boost its potential for economic growth. Continue »
