The statement comes after a Budapest court heard a civil suit against Hungarian Guard on Wednesday in response to a petition to repeal the organisation’s permit following several instances of Roma harassment.
Members of the Hungarian Guard blocked entrance to the courtroom, picking and choosing whom they were ready to admit to the public hearing. Eotvos promised a more detailed statement after he ascertained exactly what had happened.
Hungarian Journalist Community President Lajos Fenyves, when queried by MTI, chose not to comment the events.
