Police releases all 32 involved in unathorised demonstration

Budapest, November 18 (MTI) – Police did not hold in custody any
of the people apprehended during an unauthorised demonstration in
downtown Budapest on Saturday evening, spokesperson for the Budapest
police Eva Tafferner told MTI on Sunday. Police apprehended 32 people on Saturday evening, but released
all of them shortly after questioning them, Tafferner said.    About 100 people demonstrated near Parliament in downtown
Budapest on Saturday evening but were dispersed by police.     The demonstration had not been announced to police previously,
which is against the law. Police started procedures against the 32

Weather forecast for Monday

Budapest, November 18 (MTI) – Monday calls for cloudy and foggy
weather in most parts of the country, sporadic showers and sleet
possible in the west and the south west. Strong north-easterly winds. Lowest night-time temperatures will be between -1 and 4 degrees
Celsius while the daytime highs will be between 2 and 7 degrees

Man dies, four seriously injured in W Hungary crash

Budapest, November 18 (MTI) – One person was killed and four
others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two
cars in western Hungary, a disaster management official reported on
Sunday. The accident happened between the towns of Csorot and Rabagyar
in Vas County. One of the two car drivers died at the scene of the
accident while the four injured victims were taken to hospital,
Tibor Adorjan said.     The driver of one car lost control of the vehicle on the
snow-covered slippery road. His car swerved several times before
crashing head on with an oncoming car from the opposite direction,
