Weather forecast for Monday

Budapest, November 11 (MTI) – Cloudy skies and snow, showers in
the south and south-west are forecast for Monday. North-westerly
winds may rise to gale force. Lowest night-time temperatures will be between -2 and +3 degrees
Celsius and day-time highs are expected to be between 2 and 7

Budapest hit by heavy snow

Budapest, November 11 (MTI) – Budapest was hit by heavy snow on
Sunday afternoon and the public area maintenance company began
gritting roads and cleaning them of snow on the Buda (western) side
of the city, a company spokesman said. The snow has not caused disturbances in public transport so far,
he added. The company has warned property owners in hilly areas that it
was their responsibility to grit the pavement in order to prevent
