Israel did not mean to offend Hungary, says embassy

Budapest, November 5 (MTI) – Israeli President Shimon Peres
meant no harm when he said that his country was “buying up
Manhattan, Poland and Hungary”, the Israeli Embassy told MTI in a

Budapest, November 5 (MTI) – Clouds building up in the west at
first, gradually clearing up later, though sporadic showers are
possible mostly in the north. Some sleet, snow possible in the
north-east. Northerly and north-westerly winds may strengthen in
places. Nighttime lows will range from -4 to 1 degrees Celsius and
daytime highs will be between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius, the National
