Hidden economy swallows up 20 percent of GDP, says PM

Budapest, October 8 (MTI) – The semi-clandestine and completely
hidden economies in Hungary are producing untaxed revenues of
3,000-5,000 billion forints (around 12-20 billion euros) a year,
which is equivalent to nearly 20 percent of GDP, Prime Minister

Hungary CPI rise to halt despite food price hikes, say analysts

London, October 8 (MTI) – Hungary’s 12-month headline
consumer-price inflation rate rise will probably drop towards the
lower end of the 6-6.5 percent range in September, assisted by
strong base effects, essentially shrugging off a leap in food prices
that looks to push up regional CPI rates, London-based emerging
